Sura 3 Ali 'Imran (Family of Imran), aleya 81

1. وَإِذْ أَخَذَ اللَّهُ مِيثَاقَ النَّبِيِّينَ لَمَا آتَيْتُكُمْ مِنْ كِتَابٍ وَحِكْمَةٍ ثُمَّ جَاءَكُمْ رَسُولٌ مُصَدِّقٌ لِمَا مَعَكُمْ لَتُؤْمِنُنَّ بِهِ وَلَتَنْصُرُنَّهُ ۚ قَالَ أَأَقْرَرْتُمْ وَأَخَذْتُمْ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكُمْ إِصْرِي ۖ قَالُوا أَقْرَرْنَا ۚ قَالَ فَاشْهَدُوا وَأَنَا مَعَكُمْ مِنَ الشَّاهِدِينَ

   Dios celebró un pacto con la gente del Libro a través de los Profetas, diciéndoles: "Les concedo el Libro y la sabiduría, pero cuando se les presente un Mensajero que confirme lo que se les ha revelado, crean en él y préstenle auxilio. ¿Asumen tal compromiso?" Respondieron: "Sí, nos comprometemos". Dijo Dios: "Entonces, sean testigos que yo también atestiguaré con ustedes".
